Security
Security is one of the things that differentiates Armor from other wallets.
Transaction Simulations
Every trade Armor does, whether it's by a user or an agent is simulated beforehand to make sure that you are not exposed to malicious smart contracts. This is not as relevant for basic trades because Armor trades on the biggest more reputable DEXs. You still have buy/sell tax, slippage, and gas and if congestion is too high then you will pay for gas and not get the transaction through. For all of these reasons, simulation is a baseline for our trading tools.
Blacklist
Armor Wallet subscribes to several lists of known malicious actor lists and we keep this list updated to protect the community.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Limits
Users are encouraged to set limits on single trades and 24 trading limits so that if these limits are met then the user needs to use Google Authenticator and enter the code in order to proceed. These limits are completely at the discretion of the user and they can be turned off.
There are two types of 2FA codes you need to set up:
Master Code
Master code allows you to enter the code and make many trades. This is used for portfolio rebalancing and if you need to get out of many positions very quickly (go into stable coins for example)
Trading Code
This is the 2FA code used normally and only applies to a single trade.
The trading limits apply to the trading agents as well, but you can set different limits for them to give them more freedom to trade.
Portfolio rebalancing always requires the master 2FA code.
